Passages: Grief Support for Adults
Passages, an adult grief support group, is a six-week program that offers participants both education about grief and loss, as well as the opportunity to share with others the commonalities and differences regarding their grief. Some participants open up and share their story, while others benefit from merely listening and learning. Most importantly, past participants have finished sessions with a renewed feeling of hope and the realization that what they are experiencing is normal. Please call Hospice for information about the Passages schedule.
Silent Hearts: Remembering Your Baby
Silent Hearts is a program designed to help families dealing with the loss of a baby. Parents can discover ways to honor and remember their baby while addressing their own grief and loss. Hospice staff can also provide additional grief support to specifically address the loss of a baby.
First Year: Help and Support
During the first year after a loss, families receive mailings, articles, booklets, and other supportive materials to aide in the journey of grief. Volunteers are available for one-on-one meetings and a variety of other supportive services can be provided to families in need.
